Just a quickie, I hope you are all safe and well and just thought we would share this. It's going to give the Russian some serious firepower.

As you can imagine the Corvid19 response globally has taken their toll on our KS. 

We are currently in total lockdown here in NZ ( nothing in or out of the country) and the US is different from state-to-state but it's fair to say the world is being seriously impacted. 

Some good news - We have the cards, books and miniatures for the Rules only and the $85 Miniatures and Rules pledges. We will begin sending out the books and card pledges as soon as we can. Starting with the domestic US since we can currently Guarantee their postal delivery. 

Restrictions on international deliveries have been changing daily and are on a country-by-country basis. These will be despatched as and when we think they can be delivered. 

We have been developing more Russian Heavy Weapons and some refinement of the US Miniatures we showed last time. I have repeatedly tried to upload images to this message by KS is not letting me, so my apologies for no images

The not so good news - Our sources of acrylic are extremely slow to deliver, so that has and is hindering token and template production. The sculptors are dealing with there own Covid19 response so both comms and work moving forward, is seriously dragging. 

Let me clear this is not where we want to be!  I want this KS finished just as much as you do. We have been plagued with bad luck with this KS from the onset but we will complete this project.  We will deliver, we really want you to have your books and miniatures just as quickly as we can do so. 

Just also to let you know our own small Covid19 response: 

• The US team has been working local hospitals since the outbreak and part of production time in the USA has been in producing what they can in the way of Personal Protection items, such as face shields. 

Covid19 is here and needs to be treated seriously. I am sure you have been told a number of times but please keep up your social distancing (2m) and handwashing (20+ seconds) and we sincerely wish you all well and that you and your family stay safe at this trying times.

A quick note - We would also like to thank and acknowledge you're patience and the messages of support we have been getting from you. They are greatly appreciated.

New card manufacturer found and more mini's

Sorry for the slightly late bi-weekly update. I was waiting for the sample cards to arrive. I have just got back a set of sample cards from the new card production company. The new cards are great, the quality is good and the best thing is that they can deliver in about 15 working days which is better than the original company who couldn't start the job until 3 April.

See below for a few pics of the new cards

Below is some Work in Progress sculpts of the next US Fireteam, still some tweaking to do around some of the feet etc but we are now seeing lots of good detail and of course a reminder that things are deliberately oversized so they look good when cast. Anyway, we are still trucking along and believe me when I tell you we want this delivered just as soon as you do.

The first 40 copies of the books have arrived. These are for those who pledged rules only.

The problem we are having is the decks of cards, our order has been in for over a month and after finally getting some feedback from the printer we have been told they can't print the cards until 3 April. Which is unacceptable. So we have requested samples from two alternative card suppliers. We have to have proof copies so we can see the quality, as its no good ordering cards hoping they will be cool. Once we have the samples back and approved we will get the initial order and print enough for all the rules only people.

On the miniatures front here is a new SAW gunner. Remember weapons, hands etc have to be oversized to look right once cast. Personally I really like this miniature and can't wait to see him on the battlefield.
